Now, it is our pleasure to introduce you to all of this year’s nominees. Each year, we tell you that the job of the adjudicators has been very difficult, that the nominations submitted have been so thoughtfully prepared and that they describe inspiring leaders from every corner of the organization who are making a positive impact on teaching at CAMH. This year’s award is in recognition of educational mentorship. When we put out our call for nominations, we said that “an educational mentor is a willing and enthusiastic individual who provides ongoing support and guidance to help shape the professional growth and development of another educator, with the overarching aim of improving learner outcomes… [they] inspire their mentees and help to facilitate their academic, educational and professional development goals.” Nominated individuals and teams embody a dedication and deep commitment to the growth and development of others as excellent teachers, through their ongoing mentorship..
