General & Health Systems Psychiatry Division

The General and Health Systems Psychiatry Division provides the gateway to care for patients seeking treatment at CAMH, through Access CAMH and crisis services, and links to the community through hospital discharge facilitation. We offer specialized services for women’s inpatient care, gender, borderline personality disorder and telepsychiatry across the province and into northern Canada. Our researchers have diverse expertise in culturally-adapted cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, health services research, suicide prevention and telepsychiatry as well as global mental health.
