Dr. Leslie Buckley, MD MPH FRCPC

Dr. Leslie Buckley is the Chief of the Addictions Division at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. Dr. Buckley is an addiction psychiatrist and specializes in providing outpatient treatment for substance use disorders. She has a special interest in health system innovation in addiction treatment and creating collaborations to enhance care for people seeking help with substance use. Areas of specialized focus include women’s health, working with Children's Aid and virtual care interventions. Dr. Buckley is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto with longstanding involvement in addiction education for medical students and residents. She has a keen interest in Advocacy in Medicine and Health Promotion with respect to substance use.
Dr. Osnat Melamed MD, MSc, MCFP
Dr. Osnat Melamed is a family and addictions physician at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada. She is a clinician-scientist with research interests in tobacco addiction and the intersections between substance use, mental health and physical health.

Alice Ordean, MD, CCFP, MHSc -Alcohol (double check the section)
Dr. Ordean is a family physician with the Family Medicine Service at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto. She is the medical director of the Toronto Centre for Substance Use in Pregnancy (T-CUP) and an addiction consultant for St. Joseph's Addiction Medicine Service. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ordean is a principal investigator in numerous research projects, including the development of comprehensive educational tools for health care providers and better practice recommendations relating to substance use in pregnancy.
Dr. Ordean developed the Addiction Toolkit content on alcohol use in pregnancy and contributed to the sections on alcohol problems in women.
Lisa Lefebvre, MDCM, CCFP, MPH, DABAM
Dr. Lefebvre is a staff physician in the Addiction Medicine Service as well as the medical lead for Continuing Professional Development at CAMH. She has served as director of CAMH's Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program, and as head of CAMH's Addiction Medicine Service. She is an associate medical director in the Ontario Medical Association's Physician Health Program, as well as an assistant professor in the Departments of Family and Community Medicine, and Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Lefebvre contributed to the Addiction Toolkit sections on alcohol problems in women and older adults and alcohol.
Jose Silveira, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Silveira is the chief of psychiatry and medical director of the Mental Health and Addictions Program at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Silveira developed the Addiction Toolkit content on alcohol and major depression.
Sheryl Spifhoff, MD, CCFP Dip. ABAM
Sheryl Spithoff is a family physician and addiction medicine physician at Women’s College Hospital and a lecturer at the University of Toronto. She is currently completing her masters at the Institute of Medical Science University of Toronto and has a research appointment at Women’s College Hospital Research Institute. Her research interests include the primary care management of addictions, access to care for vulnerable populations, and health policy.
Dr. Spifhoff revised the Dealing with Alcohol Problems module of the toolkit.
