Dr. Albert Wong is senior scientist in the Brain Health Imaging Centre and a psychiatrist in the Schizophrenia Division at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). He is a professor in the Departments of Psychiatry, and Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto.
Areas of Research
Dr. Wong attended medical school at the University of Toronto, where he also completed specialty training in psychiatry and a PhD in neurobiology. His lab uses preclinical models and clinical studies to investigate genetic, cellular, pharmacological and developmental mechanisms underlying psychiatric symptoms. His area of clinical expertise is schizophrenia.
